Write FAQs for guests, not for a decorated search result

An FAQ page earns its place by resolving recurring decision uncertainty.

The limits of structured data

In 2023 Google largely restricted FAQ rich results to well-known government and health websites. A tourism FAQ therefore cannot promise that appearance.

Question-and-answer content can still be useful. Late arrival, cots and group entry conditions may matter. Keep answers concise, factual and connected to detailed terms.

Start with reception's questions

  • Which questions arrive repeatedly?
  • Which answers have recently changed?
  • Which situations require personal confirmation?

Do not repeat one marketing sentence under twenty questions. If the answer depends on a room or programme, explain the dependency. FAQs should support decisions, not promise guaranteed AI citations.
