Split an AI answer about your place into claims

An answer can be partly accurate and partly wrong. Make the repair equally specific.

Go beyond an overall impression

FActScore studies support for small factual claims. It was tested on biographies; using this idea for tourism is an editorial checking recommendation here.

“The central hotel has private parking and a round-the-clock reception” contains at least three checkable statements. If only parking is wrong, treating the entire description as one error hides the useful distinction.

Build a claim list

  • Separate statements about location, services and conditions.
  • Attach a current official source to each.
  • Distinguish accurate, incorrect and unresolved items.

Then identify the source you can repair. An old parking page may still be accessible and contradict the current arrival instructions.

Close the task precisely

The action should be “align parking conditions on the arrival page and profile,” rather than “fix AI.” Retain any later AI response as a separate observation. Correcting public information and proving that a particular answer changed are different checks.
