Who is the real alternative in your guest's decision?

A nearby competitor is not always the place someone would choose instead of yours.

The question defines the comparison

The GEO research found that intervention effects differed across domains. The study does not justify one universal improvement recipe.

A winery has different alternatives for a company outing, a romantic weekend and a rainy family afternoon. In the last situation, a museum may compete for the same free time without offering the same service.

Map the decision

  • What occasion does the guest need to solve?
  • What time, transport and booking constraints apply?
  • Which places actually meet them?

Compare verifiable characteristics. Explaining your advantage does not require disparaging another place.

What should change first?

If observed answers repeatedly recommend a different type of venue, check whether your own suitability for that occasion is clear. Repair missing descriptions; do not rewrite the guest's needs to fit your offer.
