GEO: what does the research mean for a place owner?

Visibility in generated answers can be studied. A research finding is not a ready-made business promise.

The metric defines the claim

The GEO paper tested content interventions and visibility in generated answers in an experimental setting. It did not measure accommodation booking returns.

First distinguish the outcome you want: a more accurate description, relevant mentions or more inquiries. A corrected source page, a changed AI answer and a booking require different evidence.

Make the task concrete

  • Name the guest's decision question.
  • Identify missing or inaccurate information you control.
  • Record the repair and how it will be checked.

Instead of “optimize for AI,” specify accurate station-to-property arrival guidance with a real route and photograph. Then revisit comparable questions.

Do not ask one number to explain everything

An aggregate value can orient a review but cannot replace original responses. The Vispertise™ approach connects observations to practical improvement work, with the limits of each conclusion visible.
